Sheena Ponnappan

Chief People Officer

Sheena Ponnappan is the Chief People Officer for Everise. She drives the company’s continued growth by creating and managing effective people strategies. Focused on delivering tangible results for the Everise group, Sheena is responsible for HR Strategy and Planning, Talent Engagement and Management, Compensation and Benefits, Staffing, Succession Planning, and Leadership Development.

Being a passionate and hands-on Human Resources executive with more than 17 years’ experience in diverse industries and countries, her industry knowledge focuses on Performance Management, HR Consulting, Talent Acquisition, Business Process Outsourcing, and Customer Relationship Management. And more recently has been awarded HR Leader of the Year from the HR Excellence Awards in 2020.

Before joining Everise, Sheena was engaged with Aegis, one of the largest BPO companies headquartered in India. She was with Aegis for eight years, starting as a Senior Manager for HR and moving up to the role of Vice President and Head of HR for the company’s United Kingdom and South African operations.

Prior to Aegis, she also held HR roles at Promantra, a revenue management company geared to the medical field, DXC Technology (Erstwhile CSC), a Global IT services company and Genpact (Erstwhile GECIS Software Services).

Sheena earned a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Chemistry from Christ University, Bangalore, and her Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resources and Personnel Management from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Pune.

In her spare time, Sheena enjoys traveling to explore new places and cultures as well as mastering the game of Tennis.
